Oct 29The Philippine Council for the Advancement of Association Executives (PCAAE), www.pcaae.org, conducted its 4th continuing education course under its Certified Professional Association Executive (CPAE) Programme covering the topic on strategic leadership and planning on October 29, 2015 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The event was attended by 30 member-association executives, association board members and MICE service providers.

The CPAE program was developed to further professionalize association governance and management in the country and offers excellent career opportunities and growth for those already working or those considering to work in the association sector that includes Board members, officers, staff and professionals.

PCAAE President & CEO, Mr. Octavio B. Peralta, was the resource person of the interactive workshop that covered two modules. The first module was on assessing the association’s relevance amidst the many changes and shifts that are currently happening in today’s sharing economy teeming with disruptive technologies, generational and societal transformation as well as market and regulatory realignment and the crafting of an association purpose statement while the second module was on a framework on how to undertake strategic planning for associations.
