PCAAE conducts CPAE course on association business innovation and sustainability

PCAAE held its CPAE course on “Association Business Innovation and Sustainability” on June 25, 2019 at its secretariat office. Attended by eleven (11) participants from PCAAE members, the course was conducted by the ADFIAP Consulting Group’s Atty. Alberto B. Reyno, Managing Principal, and Ms. Arlene S. Orencia, Head, Projects and Programs with a morning session on, “Business Model and Business Plan”, and PCAAE’s Council Secretary and ADFIAP’s Group Head, Operations and Sustainability, Mr. Enrique I. Florencio, with the afternoon session on “Sustainability” that provided a guide on the use of a “business model canvas template” which participants can use to prepare a project proposal for their respective associations.

The seminar, which is under PCAAE’s Certified Professional Association Executive (CPAE) program, provides continuing education unit (CEU) points earned by members and added to their credit towards getting a CPAE credential. The CPAE was developed to further professionalize association governance and management in the country and offers excellent career opportunities and growth for those already working or those considering to work in the association sector that includes Board members, officers, staff and professionals.
