PCAAE conducted a webinar entitled, “Empower your Association with AI:A Practical Guide for Future Relevance and Value” on June 9, 2023 with 21 local and overseas participants.

The featured speaker was Mr. Andy Steggles, CEO/Founder of Insight Guide, an AI enhanced platform designed to help associations grow their non-dues revenue while improving their membership engagement.

Associations can use AI, among others, in (a) content curation and moderation; (b) tagging/categorization; (c) speech to text conversion (audio to text); and, (d) use of large language models (LLMs) which are AI tools which can read, summarize and translate texts and predict future words in a sentence allowing them to generate sentences similar to how humans talk and write.

Andy also mentioned the various AI tools available such as: ChatGPt (content generation); Tome (storytelling); Dall-E (art; images); Synthesia (videos; Bing (search, chat, create) and many others. He summarized his presentation with the following thoughts: That AI will change everything that we do as new tools emerge each day and as an association executive, one is given the opportunity to excel with the use of AI tools.
