PCAAE holds CPAE module on business innovation and sustainability

The Philippine Council of Associations and Association Executives (PCAAE), through PCAAE Academy, its professional training and career development center, conducted the 6th and last module on “Business Innovation and Sustainability” under the Certified Professional Association Executive (CPAE) program on June 30, 2021. Ten (10) participants from ADFIAP, FIABCI Philippines International, Philippine Association of Agriculturists, Philippine Association of Real Estate Boards, Inc., and Shareholders Association of the Philippines, attended the 2-hour virtual learning module. The resource person was Enrique I. Florencio, PCAAE Council Secretary.

At the end of the session, participants learned how continued innovation and improvement in all aspects of association work can lead to a more sustainable association. A “Back-Home Action Plan” (BHAP), a pre-requisite to garnering the CPAE title after completing the 6-module CPAE programme, was also discussed in detail with the participants touching on the following points: value proposition, key activities, key partners, key resources, customer relationships, channels, and customer segments. He also briefly touched on cost structure and revenue streams. Participants are expected to present to a select group of PCAAE board trustees their respective BHAPs on September 24, 2021, integrating all the concepts learned.
