PCAAE, Visit Flanders organize ‘legacy’ webinar

 

PCAAE and the Visit Flanders Convention Bureau (Visit Flanders) conducted a webinar on How to Create a Legacy with your Event” on May 5, 2021 featuring as speakers, Visit Flanders’ (Ms.) Gemmeke de Jongh, International Association Expert for Flanders and Brussels and Sam Versele, Ambassador Relations & Post-COVID Recovery. The virtual session was highly rated by 31 attending members and overseas guests.

The speakers shared their experience in discovering a new strategy they call Travel to Tomorrow where they want their destination to flourish and thrive for a society in balance. It impresses upon that congresses are not the end goal anymore but have become the means and catalyst to stimulate positive balanced growth.

They also touched on the new program they have launched called, “Legacy Makers” where professionals and experts in a destination ensure international associations connect to local experts and vice-versa.

This free webinar and other virtual course offerings part of PCAAE’s series of monthly online learning sessions for association leaders and professionals, the aim of which is to provide participants with insights from fellow association leaders as well as update them on current trends and practical tools to further improve their work in providing service to their members.
