PCAAE launches new webinar series, first topic on branding

PCAAE has launched its new series of monthly webinars themed, “Pathways to Recovery.” The series, which will run from January to October, is aimed at providing attendees with insights from fellow association leaders and practitioners as well as updating them on current trends and practical tools to further improve their work of servicing their members.

The first of the series was conducted on January 27, 2021 entitled, “Leveraging your Association’s Brand Values during the Pandemic” which covered how authentic brand messaging through brand value system can support an association’s purpose and mission statement. There was also an discussion on tapping the core values of an association in communicating to members as well as an opportunity to create an environment of care, build community, and be human as associations reach out to members during this time of crisis. 22 participants from here and abroad attended the program.

The featured speaker was Chris Dongcong, who is founder and creative director at Springtime Design Limited, a Hong Kong-based brand consultancy whose forte in retail design has helped build its reputation. Chris has 20 years of experience in corporate, retail, and environmental branding and identity system design. In the past 15 years, Chris has been responsible for the strategic direction of Springtime Design as brand consultants and design partners that provide solid and relevant brand and retail solutions to major clients such as AIA, Disney Media Distribution, FedEx, Godiva, Adidas and Bank of China Hong Kong.
