On invitation by the Amsterdam-based International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) https://www.iccaworld.org/, PCAAE’s Founder & CEO, Octavio ‘Bobby’ Peralta, who represented the Asia-Pacific Federation of Association Organizations (APFAO) as its current president, was one of three panellists of ICCA’s online event themed, “Global Insights from Association Leaders – 4 Months Down the Line” held on September 15, 2020 at 15.00 CET.  The virtual event drew 160 attendees from around the world.

Moderated by Andy Bailey, entrepreneur and PETRA Coach, the other panelists were Greta Kotler, CAE, Chief Global Development & Credentialing Officer of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and Giuseppe Marletta, President of the European Society of Association Executives (ESAE). Jeffers Miruka, President of the African Society of Association Executives (AfSAE) was unable to join the panel. The ICCA organizing team was led by Ksenija Polla, ICCA Director for Association Relations and Margarita Voinalovych, ICCA Association Relations Executive.

The event was a sequel to ICCA’s first webinar on the same topic aimed at providing associations, ICCA members, and members of AfSAE, APFAO, ASAE and ESAE updates on how associations have been coping during this time and perspectives on possible post-pandemic outlook.
