PCAAE held its third monthly webinar under the “Association Pathways to a Turnaround” series on August 21, 2020. The online event entitled, “How to find and approach Potential Sponsors amid the Pandemic” was highly rated by the 37 attendees.
Associations need financial resources to fulfil their purpose and mission. Based on PCAAE’s experience, membership dues alone are not enough to sustain this mandate. Non-dues revenue help augment this shortfall and sponsorship generation is one of them. A good sponsorship retention and generation program is key to a sustainable non-dues revenue flow.
The webinar’s featured speaker was Julian Moore, Consultant at Strategic Membership Solutions (SMS). Julian is Australasia’s foremost non-profit sponsorship practitioner, who specialises in generating revenue for associations and other non-profits. His work includes sponsorship consultancy, sponsorship seeking, in-house training, facilitation services and keynote speaking. He draws on his extensive experience in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom to deliver outcomes for his clients.
