PCAAE holds CPAE course on association finance

PCAAE, in partnership with member, CFA Society Philippines, held the fifth module of the CPAE program on association finance, themed, “The Value of Sound and Prudent Financial Management” on May 30, 2019 at the ADFIAP Meeting Room in Makati City.

The seminar, which is under PCAAE’s Certified Professional Association Executive (CPAE) program, was attended by 12 participants who earned continuing education unit (CEU) points which are added to their credit towards getting a CPAE credential. The CPAE was developed to further professionalize association governance and management in the country and offers excellent career opportunities and growth for those already working or those considering to work in the association sector that includes Board members, officers, staff and professionals.

Three (3) top calibre practitioners spoke on the following association finance topics: John Michael delos Reyes, Financial Analyst/Shell Business Operations Manila and part-time instructor at De La Salle University, Dasmariñas, on “Understanding Financial Statements”; Jerome Go, Product Marketing Head, Philam Group on “Sustaining Financial Resources”; and, Rizchelle Sampang-Manaog, PCAAE Board Trustee and Program Director, CFA Society Philippines on “Managing the Finance Function” and “Generating and Diversifying Funding Sources”.
