The first ever Association Executive Summit (AES) is scheduled on November 19-20, 2013 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). The AES is an educational and networking session which will bring together association leaders who are in good standing and have global affiliations. In particular, the AES will: (1) update and re-tool association executives on the following: (a) the benefits of hosting international meetings (b) working with international associations to bring events to the Philippines and (c) strategies for excellent congress management and (2) strengthen the governance and leadership skills of Philippine associations. The event is jointly organized by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) of the Philippine Department of Tourism, the PICC and the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP). Invited resource persons of the event are experienced and well-regarded CEOs, professionals, advocates in the association management circle here and abroad such as Ms. Susan Sarfati, Ms, Liz Jackson, Ms. Monette Hamlin, among others.
