PCAAE conducts CPAE seminar on association governance

The PCAAE Academy, the professional training and career development center of the Philippine Council of Associations and Association Executives (PCAAE), conducted the seminar, “Principles and Practices of Association Governance” on April 25, 2018 at the PCAAE Headquarters in Makati City.

The seminar, the fourth conducted for this year under PCAAE’s Certified Professional Association Executive (CPAE) program, was attended by 11 participants who earned continuing education unit (CEU) points added to their credit to becoming a CPAE.

The CPAE was developed to further professionalize association governance and management in the country and offers excellent career opportunities and growth for those already working or those considering to work in the association sector that includes Board members, officers, staff and professionals.

Topics covered during the one-day event included board roles and duties, governance documents, and structure; legal and regulatory aspects governing Philippine associations, and the strategic planning process.
