Taking the opportunity after attending a conference in Europe, PCAAE CEO and founder Octavio B. Peralta visited the headquarters of the Union of International Associations (UIA) in Brussels and met with its management and thereafter UIA members and association executives based in the European capital. The meeting and networking event afforded Mr. Peralta to understand more about international associations located in Brussels and to explore areas of collaboration. There are over 1,700 associations and non-profit organizations based in Brussels.

The UIA https://www.uia.org/ is a research institute and documentation centre, based in Brussels. Non-profit, apolitical, independent, and non-governmental in nature, the UIA has been a pioneer in the research, monitoring and provision of information on international organizations, international associations and their global challenges since 1907.
