PCAAE attends Great Ideas Conference 2017

On invitation by and with funding support from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), four PCAAE members attended the 2017 ASAE Great Ideas Global Association Management Conference Asia-Pacific held on March 22-24, 2017 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul, Korea. Over 150 delegates from 15 countries attended the third annual edition of the event which was launched in March 2015 in Hong Kong.

The conference was a unique opportunity to connect with other association executives from the region, the U.S., and Europe on best practices in association management. There were 17 learning plenaries and simultaneous sessions and 32 speakers and moderators.

PCAAE members who attended the event were Evelyn Salire of the Philippine Retailers Association and Arlene Orencia, Cristy Aquino and Bobby Peralta of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific. PCAAE CEO and Founder, Bobby Peralta spoke and led the session on association governance.
