PCAAE confers CPAE title to first batch of 12 graduates

cpae-1st-batchThe Philippine Council of Associations and Association Executives (PCAAE) conferred, in simple rites during its General Council of Members Meeting held on November 24, 2016, the “Certified Professional Association Executive” (CPAE) title to the first 12 graduates of the program.

The CPAE program is a comprehensive and rigorous training regimen aimed at further advancing the association management profession in the country. It was designed and developed by PCAAE member-practitioners themselves based on international standards on association management best practices that covered topics such as leadership development, membership recruitment, retention and engagement, fundraising and financial management, human resource management, marketing, communication and branding and legal and regulatory aspects. The course was spread out in monthly seminars over a period of one year, with corresponding CEP (continuing education points) to track program completion.

The first batch of CPAE graduates consisted of the following: Octavio B. Peralta, Ma. Sandra I. Lim, Enrique I. Florencio and Ma. Cristina Aquino of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific, Yayu Javier, Gwen Albarracin and Vince Reyes of the Philippine Marketing Association, Evelyn Salire and Anna Marie Miranda of the Philippine Retailers Association, Rizchelle Manaog of CFA Society of the Philippines, Joseph Cubar of the International Association for Volunteer Effort Philippines and Alvidon Asis of the League of Cities of the Philippines. They received a medal, a certificate and a pin and can now put the CPAE title after their names.
