PCAAE Associations Summit 4 (AS4) a big success

as4-group-photoThe Philippine Council of Associations and Association Executives’ (PCAAE) 4th annual Association Summit (AS4) held on November 23-24, 2016 at the Philippine International Convention Centre (PICC) was a big success judging from the participation of about 200 local and overseas attendees and their excellent rating of the event.

The 2-day programme, themed, “Race to Innovation: Winning in the Age of Disruption”, featured 23 educational tracks presented by as many practitioners, thought leaders and speakers from here and abroad, 36 table top exhibitors from association suppliers, conference organizers, event managers, hotels, venues and destinations, as well as 9 winning institutions and individuals of the “Ang Susi” Awards 2016.

The learning plenaries and concurrent sessions covered a wide range of “day-to-day” topics and issues that associations face – from board governance, leadership, membership, business models, technology, branding and communications, products and services, millennials, relevance, finance and investments and yes, even music!

The Summit also shined the spotlight on outstanding associations and association board members and professionals through the “Ang SUSI Awards” that was presented during the formal gala dinner and awards night on November 23. Recognition for outstanding achievements was given in six categories: helping the environment, empowering people, serving communities, enhancing trade and industry, developing technology solutions, and for being agents of change.
